TRAVELLING TO THE VILLA from the UK

Airports:

• Carcassonne (CCF) – 30 km, approx. 35 mins (Ryanair)

• Perpignan (PFG)- 72km (Ryanair)

• Toulouse (TLS) – 95 km, approx. 90 mins (Ryanair, British Airways)

• Girona (GRO) – 130km

• Montpelier (MPL) – 160km (British Airways)

By rail:

From Paris – Gare du Nord

To Carcassonne or Gare Limoux, Occitanie.  (There is a second railway station in Limoux which is called Limoux-Flassian).   It takes from between 6 to 8 Hours to travel from Paris to Limoux.

The Alet-les-Bain railway station is due to re-open 2026, and bus route information below.

By bus:

From Carcassonne or Limoux to Alet-les-Bains:

There are about 5 connections a day and it takes about 50 minutes.

By road via boat or channel tunnel:

• From Calais (Channel tunnel or Boat) through Dover and Folkstone from the UK.

• From L’ Havre (Boat)  through Portsmouth from the UK.

• From Santander (Overnight ferry) through the ports of Portsmouth, Plymouth or Cork.
